SUNDAY SWEAT AT ST B'S

No online booking needed for the Sunday Sweat at St Bs – all welcome to turn up and pay at the door!

To sweat is to pray, to make an offering of your innermost self. Sweat is holy water, prayer beads, pearls of liquid that release your past. Sweat is an ancient and universal form of self healing, whether done in the gym, the sauna, or the sweat lodge. I do it on the dance floor. The more you dance, the more you sweat. The more you sweat, the more you pray. The more you pray, the closer you come to ecstasy. - Gabrielle Roth, Sweat Your Prayers

Sunday Sweats are music-only, un-facilitated, 2 x 1 hour 5Rhythms Waves – the second often with a deeper intention or ‘theme’. It helps to have been to a 5Rhythms class before but it’s not essential.

In the Spirit of Sunday morning, we offer Sweat your Prayers sessions as a gentle and deep movement experience. A place to find sanity, solace and sensuality in a morning movement practice.

In 2026 we offer monthly daytime dances as a family friendly event. Most of these are at St Brigids Hall – we’ll get a winter and summer dance at the Convent.
